Introducing an Internal Card Version of the CORIOgen Eclipse Scan Converter with Genlock/Overlay

TV One Multimedia Solutions announces the availability of an Internal Card Version of the CORIOgen Eclipse, a high performance Scan Converter with Genlock and Overlay. Available as a PCI/ISA dual-format card, where you can simply remove the end-bracket, turn the card through 180 degrees, and replace the end-bracket to change from one format to another.  Designed specifically for system integration, the card removes the need for external power supplies and greatly reduces the length of cables usually used.   The PCI or ISA slots in your computer are used solely for holding the unit in place - no data or power connections are made to either of them.  This prevents bus signal or timing compatibility issues, and means that the unit can even be mounted in other types of enclosure.

The internal version takes power from a spare hard-disk drive connector and is supplied with video breakout cables, so you still have the same range of signals as the external version.  No remote control is supplied for the internal card version, but is an option and requires the optional Infrared Receiver Module to work.  As standard, RS232 is the sole method of control (cable included for 9-pin D connectors on your PC), using either your own software or our CORIO Control Panel software. Based upon our highly successful CORIO technology, the Eclipse Card features an integral digital keyer that permits computer graphics to be keyed over external Composite or S-Video sources. It has 4-Line Digital Flicker Elimination and handles all resolutions up to 1600x1200. It accepts any vertical refresh rate and horizontal scan rates up to 100KHz. Video outputs are switchable between NTSC and PAL and are simultaneously provided in Composite, S-Video, and RGB, as well as a computer monitor loop-thru. CORIOgen Eclipse’s exclusive AutoSet feature automatically sizes and positions the computer image to fit exactly on the video screen. The CORIOgen Eclipse is now available at $595.00 MSRP.
